Do's and Don'ts

Do Do Not
Always type the URL address (www.ambg.com.my) in the browser locator.
Always end AmBank Online Banking session by performing proper logout function at navigation menu.
Always clear your Internet browser cache after logging out from AmBank Online Banking website.
Always look out for the secure site lock at the bottom right corner of the window browser before entering personal details or logging in.
Change your Password frequently or when you feel it has been compromised or tampered. And always use unique passwords.
Install anti-virus software with personal firewall that will detect and prevent unauthorised Internet traffic transmitted to and from your home or office PC.
Constantly ensure your anti-virus protection program is updated and your PC is free from virus.
Always ensure that your PC is secured and within access of trusted people.
Please ensure that your Internet browser is up-to-date as new versions of browsers often include improved security features.
Regularly update your operating system, browser and software patches.
   
 

 

Do not click on any links in emails to get to our corporate website/ AmBank Online Banking secure site.
Do not proceed with any transactions if you are doubtful.
Do not execute any programs from unknown or un-trusted sources.
Do not reveal, write down or share confidential information such as your PIN, Password or account details via e-mail or to any third party.
