Q. What is Al-Syamil Facility
The Al-Syamil Facility is a Facility where AmMutual groups our
various Islamic unit trust funds under one umbrella¹. The
Facility allows you to switch between all the Islamic funds
under AmMutual. Currently, they comprise:
AmAl-Amin - Islamic short term debt securities fund
AmBon Islam - Islamic bond fund
AmIslamic Balanced - Islamic Balanced fund
AmIttikal - Islamic equity fund
AmIslamic Growth - Islamic equity growth fund
AmOasis Global Islamic Equity - Global Islamic equity capital growth fund
You may choose to create your own portfolio by investing in
one or a composite of funds (subject to the minimum investment
amount requirement of the respective fund). Subsequently, you
may wish to switch between funds in your portfolio according
to the changes in your investment requirements and market cycles
(subject to 30-day interval between each switch and a minimum
amount of RM1,000).
¹You may invest in these Islamic
funds separately if you wish to do so, subject to terms and
conditions mentioned in the AmMutual Master Prospectus. |

| |
Q. Please elaborate

as a member, you are free to invest in the various Islamic funds
under the Facility. Your portfolio choice can be in any combination,
or you can concentrate in one or two funds as you please.

You may also opt to switch out of the funds in the Facility
to one of our conventional funds. Under such circumstances,

to pay the joining fee for the second time.
Existing AmIttikal investors may opt for the Facility now without
any joining fee. |
